Welcome back everybody
Hope you have had a good season and at the end of it are thinking what about next year.
Well we have been negotiating a 2 year deal with the Gammar school for use of the grounds.
This has been the slight delay in posting the Tournament dates but we are all sorted.

Registration will open from the 6th of September so you can organise your teams.
This year I would like clubs to have 1 person that will coordinate the registration so I dont have the same team registered several times.
Also this year we will have "Good Sports" rules applied to the tournament as we noticed a couple of cases last year and will apply them from now on.
This tournament has always been about girls having fun and participating in our sport not winning cattle stations
So hope to hear from you all soon

Phew! The sixth Total Girl Soccer Tournament went off with a bang. Thank you to all the players, parents, coaches and referees for a great two days of brilliant girls soccer. Melbourne Victroy midfielder Selin Kuralay when asked to attend did not believe that we could possibly have that many girls in one place playing soccer. She was very impressed. A huge thank you to the teams who travelled to Ballarat, we appreciate your commitment and support.
Results are listed under the game tab. Just a few Emails that we received so far:

The girls had alot of fun and we will be back next year. Thank you from our all our girls and parents

Please accept my personal thanks for all your support, encouragement and tireless commitment to the expansion of Girl's soccer here in Victoria. Your tournament is unique and I hope it continues to grow and thrive for many years to come.

Thank you once again to you and your team for another fantastic Total Girl Tournament.  As usual the girls and parents thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  Your tireless effort and dedication in organising such an event is much appreciated and we look forward to the next tournament.

The highlight for the committee was when one of our U11 Ballarat North players fronted up on Sunday with her new best friend from Brighton. They chummed up during their game on Saturday and are now going to text each other. That is really what we are about, promoting soccer, building relationships across the soccer community and making sure that the girls play for the love of the game. It was thrilling to see what the U10's were doing, Ireceived a lot of comments about the skill level in comparison to six years ago.  We were totally blown away by the skill level of the girls across the tournament.

We hope that the weekend has built friendships, strengthened teamwork and got you fired up for the season ahead.  We will post the dates for 2011 in the next few weeks so you can grab accommodation and let the girls know to keep their calendar free.  We would really appreciate any photos that you have that show the girls doing what they do best , please email them and we will endeavour to post them on the site.

On behalf of the committee thank you once again for your support. Thank you also to our sponsors Total Girl Magazine Ballarat Grammar, Events Ballarat, Melbourne Victory W League, Forest Rangers Soccer Club, Ballarat North United Soccer Club, Vic Park SC, Big 4 Holiday Parks, Supre, The Haymarket, Cameron's, Errea, Sportz Biz, Thrifty, BDSA, Ballarat Courier and Win TV.
